We are often asked the question "What sets Innersense shampoos apart from conventional shampoos?" This is a great question, and here's the answer:
The difference is in the beneficialness and concentration of 100% natural and pure ingredients from nature.
To better understand this answer, let's first look at the common ingredients found in conventional shampoos and what to look for when reading ingredient lists: 

KNOW YOUR INGREDIENTS

Conventional shampoos rely on synthetic ingredients such as sulfate and sulfate derivatives. These ingredients are harsh surfactants that work in combination with MEAs, TEAs and PEGs, which are all basically synthetic cleaners. These detergents clean the hair and scalp and also create the effect of foam. As they have been used for decades, these ingredients have given the impression that shampoos should always lather this way. After all, that's what people are used to from shampoo. Conventional shampoos also have a high water content, thickened by PEGs and salt ingredients.
These same conventional products contain quaternary ingredients such as polyquanterniums, which, among other things, add shine to the hair.
By adding resins, silicones and plastics, these ingredients artificially add more shine and volume.
How? They coat the hair and create an illusion of hydration. But because the above ingredients are processed via petrochemicals, they are anything but natural. Using shampoos with these ingredients will cause hair to become dried out and dull over time. Eventually one will switch shampoos when this happens, and the same story is repeated.

THE INNERSENSE DIFFERENCE

Here is where Innersense is different from conventional shampoo brands.
Using a rich, concentrated combination of pure organic plant ingredients such as coconut, avocado, pumpkin seed, monoi and tamanu oil and shea butter, the hair is thoroughly cleansed. Take a small amount of Pure Harmony, Color Awakening Hair Bath or Hydrating Cream Hair Bath in your palm and emulsify with your hands.
Apply it to the hair and start massaging the shampoo on the scalp. The 100% pure formula may not lather like the conventional shampoo you're used to (remember, no synthetic fillers!), so hair may feel a little different. But your hair will be amazingly clean and able to breathe again.
New users can massage the hair twice in succession with shampoo to wash away built-up sebum and synthetic substances.
Rest assured, the ingredients specifically add moisture to keep hair nourished and healthy, rather than cosmetically masking the damage that dries out hair over time.
