The prickly pear or prickly pear is a fruit that grows on the opuntia indica cactus. Frequently found in Spain, Morocco, Mexico.
The seeds of the prickly pear are carefully washed and dried outside in the sun.
After drying, the kernels are cold-pressed into this unique oil. Approximately 1 million seeds are needed to produce 1 liter of oil. So time-consuming and expensive.
Prickly pear oil is therefore one of the most special oils in the world. The average price is €1000 per liter. Fortunately, you only need very little.

The secret:

The oil contains an exceptionally high percentage of tocopherol (natural vitamin E) and unsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and anti-aging ingredient. It reduces wrinkles, softens the skin and supports the skin's healing capacity, reduces bags under the eyes and fades scars. Prickly pear oil contains 150% more vitamin E than argan oil and therefore more than any other skin oil.
