With “Cut By Fred”, Parisian hairdresser Fred Birault shares his vision on hair care with the rest of the world: back to basics and back to nature. All products from his colorful hair care line are 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free and are developed and produced in France.
Fred Birault is the hairdresser who can put his scissors in the hair of famous French actresses such as Marion Cotillard and Mélanie Laurent. With his hair care line Cut By Fred, he brings a breath of fresh air through the beauty world and through your hair.
Fred was tired of working with products that were not good for the environment and for his customers' hair. He also found that many people have bad hair washing habits: they wash their hair too much and not their scalp well enough.
He had been a fan of solid shampoos for some time. They are super ecological and also good for the scalp, but unfortunately they are slightly less practical to use. You don't know where to put them, they stick to the bath rim, they break in two... In short: too many reasons to stick with the old faithful shampoo bottle.
That is why Fred developed the first solid shampoo in a stick. Vegan Stick Shampoo Detox cleanses the scalp thoroughly but gently and is suitable for all skin and hair types. The scent of peppermint provides a fresh sensation. The stick is easy to use and easy to take with you everywhere (even on the plane in your hand luggage). When the stick is empty, you can refill it cheaply, easily and ecologically with a new shampoo block.
The line was then expanded with care products for which Fred was mainly inspired by the surfing world. The Vegan Surf Mist has also grown into a true icon. This spray is like a wonderful breeze with the right dose of sea salt and a light perfume of coconut and vanilla. A must for sexy beach hair!
